SDR Electrical

SDR Electrical is my brother’s business which he started after going out on his own. He approached me for a logo so that he could be identifiable, and eventually, over time, we would build up his branding.

Sitting down with him, we discussed ideas and potential business names. He settled on naming his Business SDR Electrical his initials. From there, we discussed ways in which we could identify his business. I got the explicit no lightbulbs, switches, lightning symbols… essentially something that wasn’t cliche electrical.

So I did some visual research and remembered way back from school learning about electrical circuits. I incorporated the circuit into the SDR of the logo using symbols to create interest and a proper ‘working’ circuit.
