SDR Electrical is a business that was started with the goal of creating a strong and recognizable brand. When tasked with designing a logo, the objective was to develop an identity that stood out while avoiding typical electrical imagery.

In the initial brainstorming sessions, various ideas were discussed, and the business name was eventually settled as SDR Electrical, using the founder’s initials. One key request was to steer clear of clichés such as lightbulbs, switches, and lightning symbols—aiming for a more unique and professional look.

Inspired by this direction, I conducted visual research and reflected on concepts from electrical circuits I had learned about in school. The final design incorporated circuit symbols creatively into the SDR, resulting in a distinctive logo that not only adds visual interest but also represents a functioning circuit, aligning perfectly with the business’s identity.
